Targeted Peptide Support

Targeted Peptide Support at SPOKEmed

If you're dealing with stubborn weight, low energy, hormonal shifts, or slow recovery, peptide therapy may offer targeted support where general solutions have fallen short. SPOKEmed provides clinically guided peptide therapy for weight loss, metabolic health, tissue repair, and healthy aging, each protocol prescribed after a full clinical review of your history, labs, and goals.

All medications are sourced from an FDA-certified compounding pharmacy and shipped directly to patients with a certificate of authenticity. Prescription services are currently available to patients in Florida and New York.

What Are Peptides and How Does This Work?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that occur naturally in the body and function as biological messengers. They regulate hormone signaling, immune response, tissue repair, metabolism, and cellular communication. Peptide therapy uses specific bioactive peptides to support these pathways with precision, addressing where your body needs help rather than applying a generalized approach.

At SPOKEmed, peptide therapy is overseen by Michelle Middleton, PA-C, who brings over a decade of clinical experience in weight management, hormonal health, and metabolic medicine. Therapies are selected based on your health history, symptoms, lab results, and long-term goals, not trends.

GHK-Cu: Skin, Hair & Tissue Repair

As we age, GHK-Cu levels in the body naturally decline, and with them, the speed of tissue repair, skin resilience, and inflammation control. GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding peptide found in human plasma that supports collagen production, wound healing, and healthy cell turnover. SPOKEmed uses GHK-Cu therapy to restore these functions in patients experiencing aging-related tissue decline.

What It May Support

  • Skin firmness, elasticity, and tone
  • Collagen and elastin production
  • Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles
  • Wound healing and tissue repair
  • Hair growth and follicle health
  • Reduction in oxidative stress and inflammation

Dosing & Pricing

Dose 1.5 mg daily
Schedule 5 days on / 2 days off
Duration 6-12 weeks, followed by an equal rest period
Noticeable results Typically after 4–6 weeks

NAD+ — Cellular Energy & Brain Health

NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme essential for cellular energy production, mitochondrial function, and DNA repair. Levels decline with age, chronic stress, inflammation, and illness, contributing to fatigue, brain fog, and metabolic slowdown. Restoring NAD+ levels may boost energy, support mitochondrial efficiency, and improve both metabolic and cognitive health.

What It May Support

  • Energy, stamina, and endurance
  • Brain health and cognitive function
  • DNA repair and cellular resilience
  • Reduced inflammation
  • Cardiovascular and neurological health
  • Recovery, detoxification, and mood regulation

Dosing & Pricing

Dose 50–100 mg
Frequency 2–3 times weekly
Administration Subcutaneous injection

BPC-157: Tissue Healing & Gut Health

BPC-157 is a peptide derived from a compound found in gastric juice, well established for its role in tissue healing and inflammation reduction. It supports recovery from musculoskeletal injuries and gastrointestinal conditions and can be administered systemically or near a specific injury site. SPOKEmed also offers gut microbiome testing to assess intestinal health before and during therapy, providing a measurable baseline for gut-related protocols.

What It May Support

  • Tendon, ligament, and muscle repair
  • Joint and bone healing
  • Pain and inflammation reduction
  • Collagen synthesis
  • Gut lining and intestinal health
  • Neuroprotective effects

Dosing & Pricing

Dose 250-500 mcg daily
Administration Subcutaneous injection or near injury site
Duration 4–6 weeks, followed by a break

Glutathione: Detoxification & Antioxidant Support

Glutathione is the body's primary antioxidant, critical for detoxification, immune defense, and cellular protection. Levels decline with aging, stress, toxin exposure, and illness. Injectable glutathione delivers more reliable absorption than oral forms and works synergistically with NAD+ for combined cellular and metabolic support.

What It May Support

  • Liver detoxification
  • Reduced oxidative stress
  • Immune function
  • Skin clarity and tone

Dosing & Pricing

Dose 200 mg (1 mL)
Frequency 1–2 times weekly
Administration Intramuscular or subcutaneous

Metabolic Therapies: Fat Loss and Energy

The following therapies support fat metabolism, energy production, and metabolic efficiency. At SPOKEmed, these are prescribed as part of a structured weight management plan, not in isolation.

Orforglipron - Oral GLP-1 Receptor Agonist

Orforglipron delivers GLP-1 class metabolic benefits, including appetite control, improved glucose regulation, and weight reduction, without injections. Because it is absorbed through the gastrointestinal system, blood level consistency may be slightly lower than that of injectable GLP-1 medications. However, it remains a clinically effective option for appropriate patients who prefer an oral format. Dosing and pricing are discussed during the consultation.

AOD-9604 — Targeted Fat-Loss Peptide

AOD-9604 is a peptide fragment of growth hormone that stimulates fat breakdown (lipolysis), inhibits fat storage (lipogenesis), and targets visceral body fat, without affecting blood sugar or growth hormone levels.

  • Dose: 300 mcg daily, 5 days on / 2 days off
  • Administration: Subcutaneous injection; avoid carbohydrates 30 minutes post-injection or take first thing in the morning
  • Recommended duration: 12 weeks

MOTS-C - Mitochondrial & Metabolic Support

MOTS-C is a mitochondrial-derived peptide that improves glucose utilization, insulin sensitivity, and energy expenditure. Research has described it as an "exercise mimetic" for its ability to enhance metabolic flexibility, support blood sugar regulation, and increase endurance.

  • Dose: 5 mg twice weekly
  • Duration: 2-6 week cycles

Lipotropic Injections - Fat Metabolism Support

Lipotropic injections - a blend of fat-metabolism nutrients including Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and B-vitamins (commonly called MIC injections), support fat metabolism, liver function, and energy production. They are used alongside weight-loss and metabolic programs.

  • Dose: 1 mL intramuscular, weekly

Carnitine - Fat Utilization & Energy

Carnitine is an amino acid that transports fatty acids into the mitochondria for conversion into energy. Injectable forms offer improved absorption over oral alternatives and are used for fat mobilization, performance support, and blood sugar regulation.

  • Dose: 200-400 mg intramuscularly, 2-3 times weekly

GLP-1 and Incretin-Based Medications for Medical Weight Loss

GLP-1 medications, known as glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, are among the most clinically studied weight loss medications available.

Drugs in this class, including semaglutide (known by the brand name Ozempic) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro), work by regulating blood sugar levels, controlling appetite, promoting satiety, and slowing gastric emptying.

At SPOKEmed, these medications are prescribed as part of a comprehensive medical weight loss plan, not as standalone solutions.

Tirzepatide - Dual GLP-1 / GIP Agonist

Tirzepatide activates both GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptors. This dual mechanism improves insulin sensitivity, reduces appetite, controls blood sugar levels, and enhances metabolic efficiency. It supports significant weight loss while preserving lean mass when paired with proper nutrition and strength training.

  • Administration: Subcutaneous injection, once weekly, gradually titrated based on tolerance

Emerging Therapies Under Clinical Review

The following therapies are offered selectively at SPOKEmed. Both are investigational, and long-term safety data is still evolving. Neither has received full FDA approval for weight management. Michelle Middleton, PA-C, reviews each patient's history and clinical profile before recommending either protocol. These therapies are not appropriate for all patients.

Retatrutide Spokemed

Retatrutide - Triple Incretin Agonist

Retatrutide targets three metabolic pathways: GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors. This triple mechanism may enhance fat loss, increase energy expenditure, and reduce visceral body fat beyond what appetite suppression alone provides. Because this therapy is investigational, dosing and pricing are reviewed individually at consultation.

The SPOKEmed Treatment Model

At SPOKEmed, every peptide or metabolic therapy is paired with a structured care plan. No medication is prescribed in isolation. Protocols include:

  • Nutrition optimization with adequate protein and micronutrients
  • Strength training and movement guidance
  • Hormone evaluation and optimization when appropriate
  • Follow-up appointments every three to four weeks with dose adjustments as needed
  • Direct access to Michelle Middleton, PA-C, by phone and text between visits

The goal is sustainable weight loss, muscle preservation, and long-term metabolic health, not rapid results that reverse when therapy ends.
