AOD-9604

A synthetic peptide fragment derived from the C-terminal region of growth hormone, studied in clinical trials for its potential metabolic effects — particularly fat reduction — without the growth-promoting or blood sugar-elevating effects of full growth hormone.

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound)

A synthetic peptide derived from a protein found in human gastric juice, studied in preclinical and early clinical research for its potential tissue repair, anti-inflammatory, and gut-protective properties. Regulatory status is evolving.

CJC-1295

A synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that stimulates pituitary GH secretion with extended duration due to a drug affinity complex modification. Frequently combined with ipamorelin for synergistic growth hormone support. Available only through compounding pharmacies — regulatory availability subject to ongoing FDA review.

Collagen Peptides

Hydrolyzed collagen protein broken down into short amino acid chains (primarily glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline) that are absorbed and used by the body to support connective tissue, skin, joint, bone, and gut health.

Growth Hormone Secretagogue

A compound — including certain peptides and small molecules — that stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and release growth hormone through endogenous signaling pathways, rather than directly administering exogenous growth hormone.

Ipamorelin

A selective growth hormone-releasing peptide (GHRP) that stimulates pituitary GH secretion without significantly elevating cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH — its selectivity profile making it clinically preferred over earlier-generation GHRPs for patients with cortisol dysregulation, which is extremely common in perimenopausal and menopausal women.

Peptide Therapy

The clinical use of short chains of amino acids (peptides) that act as biological signaling molecules — targeting specific receptors and pathways to support tissue repair, hormonal signaling, metabolic function, immune regulation, and other physiological processes.

PT-141 (Bremelanotide / Vyleesi)

An FDA-approved peptide medication (bremelanotide, brand name Vyleesi) for hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women. It activates melanocortin receptors in the brain to enhance sexual desire through a central — not hormonal — mechanism.

Sermorelin

A synthetic peptide analogue of the first 29 amino acids of natural growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), which stimulates the pituitary to produce growth hormone. The only GHRH analogue with prior FDA approval history for pediatric GH deficiency.
